Default Norn Tourney Build

This has been a trial and error process. In brief, I refused to become a Mo/Rt in the name of being spoon fed the tournament. It has literally taken me from the time of EotN release to just this morning to find a build that has been able to, thus far, beat every opponent. However, I have not yet pitted this build against Joko.

Previous attempts as... Mo/As, Mo/Me, Mo/Rg, Mo/Wa. My latest attempts as a Monk/Necro have been the most successful. My first time build allowed me immediately through the first round; however, Cynn would devastate me. This is no longer the case!

Mo/Ne
130Hp
Healing 7
Smiting 13
Blood 12
Protection 8

Protective Spirit (Mo)
Healing Breeze (Mo)
Spoil Victor (Ne Elite)
Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support (EotN)
Bane Signet (Mo)
Spear of Light
Castigation Signet (Mo)
Strip Enchantment (Ne)

Weapons
Main Hand - Plus 20% to enchantment length
Off-Hand - Grim Cesta

Casting straight down the line on any caster (excluding Cynn) will result in their immediate destruction. This will follow in with any melee. Please note I have reduced my health to almost that of a 55 build.

Known Difficulties
Cynn - You may very well not beat her in the first five seconds. However, a little running, a little monk tanking, rebuild your skills and energy, you will defeat her.

Kahmnu - If he gets close you will be doomed; however, be quick to spam cast down the bar and he will be easily defeated.

Magni - This is a little different of a fight then the rest due to his bear form. Normally I case Prot Spirit, HB, run out, Spoil Victor and tank him. Casting Castigation signet as needed. Watch out for his knock down in or out of bear form to recast Prot Spirit. Once he is out of bear form he is VERY easily defeated.

Little Thom - He loves to start off with rain of fire, just move away from where you were standing.

Zho & Onyx - Don't target Onyx, simple enough.

Mhenlo - Casting Strip Enchantments on him will automatically win the match.

Hope this helps and please let me know your thoughts!

I also didn't like the idea of buying a bunch of Rt skills for each of my toons just to play x/Rt spammer in the norn tournament.

Pvxwiki has an any/N norn tournament build that works well. It uses [[You Move Like a Dwarf!], [[Necrosis], [[Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support], and [[Strip Enchantment], with 4 optional skill slots. Basically, just cripple the opponent and kite while doing damage with assassin and necrosis.

The any/N build works well enough, but for warrior toons it seemed better to use a build that has [[Dragon Slash], [[Steelfang Slash], [[Brawling Headbutt], and [[Dolyak Signet].
